Our Team - Ps Mark and Michele Bird

Mark and Michele Bird are the Assistant Pastors of Harvest Church. They have held this position for several years after a church that they had served for 14 years merged with Harvest.

It is their passion to see the body of Christ encouraged, trained and equipped, to see people be able to serve God with joy and enthusiasm.

Mark and Michele were assistant youth pastors at an AOG church north of Brisbane for three years.
On the Sunshine Coast they were involved in the pioneering of a church where they were the assistant pastors.

After joining the ministry team at Harvest, Michele became the senior pastor's personal assistant. In their role as assistant pastors at Harvest Mark and Michele are involved in all areas of the church.

Michele is a gifted and relevant preacher who uses humour and real life scenarios to powerfully illustrate her message which goes right to the heart of the issues people face on a daily basis. Mark is gifted in the area of leading people to facilitate the word of God in a very practical way in their everyday lives. Mark loves to help people and truly has a servant's heart, to serve and minister where he can. Mark leads the Help's Team ministry at Harvest Church.

Mark has an ability to communicate God's word in an encouraging, humorous and inspirational way. He has a great heart for nurturing people. His personal testimony is powerful - how God supernaturally turned his life around. This creates the platform for his desire to see people from all walks of life walk in relationship and freedom through Christ.
