Team Kids
Harvest Kid's Team Leaders aim to offer a place where the children feel a sense of love, acceptance and belonging, make lasting friendships and come away having been challenged to add to their personal growth. All our Team members hold current suitability cards and have shown a commitment to sharing the Gospel with our children in a loving and friendly manner. Our monthly 'Team leader' meetings consists of 'praying for the children' and brainstorming fun and exciting ways to present the message. Each week, the kid's get to take home prizes along with a 'Bookmark' with the memory verses for the month on it.
Our Age Groups are:
CRECHE - 12 months to 5 years old
KID'S CHURCH - Grades 1 to 6
(A cry room is available for Nursing mothers)
REGULAR 'CHARACTER' VISITORS TO KID'S CHURCH -
'SCOTTABEE DUNRITE' -
Our own Harvest Scarecrow who goes around in the community searching for a wrong thing that has just 'got-to-be done right'.
'HARVEY' -
a funny 'JAMAICAN' man who has lots of stories to share. Harvey throws lollies and stickers from his pockets.
'HARVEST PUPPETS' -
Billy, G'ma, Lucy and others present 'life application' skits relating to the monthly message.
'PUPPET BIRD BAND' -
Some of the older Kids have put together a Puppet Bird Band - The 'Rock'n for Jesus' Birds perform ALL the latest hits.
