Welcome to Harvest Music, Scott Dunbar is our worship Pastor and has been with Harvest from the beginning of the church. Scott has been actively leading worship while writing and producing choruses and recording worship and Christian music. He also has led our music team in short term missions in other parts of the world. Scott has a passion for excellence in worship and music production, leading the Harvest Music team with a commitment and genuine calling from God to create an atmosphere of the presence and person of Jesus through professional and heartfelt music and creative arts in our services. You'll absolutely love the Harvest worship experience.

Here at Harvest we have been gifted with a team of musicians and singers who display a professionalism and excellence in whatever they do - something that is only surpassed by their desire and passion for God personally. Something every member of our worship team is encouraged to seek as a top priority in their lives see when all is said and done it's all about Jesus the one to whom we direct our praise.

Harvest Christian Centre worship and creative ministries is an awesome ministry to be involved in. Starting from one guitarist and a few faithful singers using their gifts and talents for God in His house. The team has developed from those early beginnings to go from strength to strength with a 14 member leadership team and over 30 skilled singers, musicians, dance, drama and multi-media personnel.

1 Peter 2:9 tells us that as sons and daughter of God, He has chosen us to proclaim the wonderful acts of our Father. There has never been a better time to be alive as the church arises powerfully throughout the earth in worship.

We are dedicated to seeing people encounter God through passionate worship. Our desire as a team is excellence in worship and in service to God. As we see people trained skillfully and released to use their gifts and talents to bring glory to God. We are committed to using powerful praise and worship with fantastic music, dance, drama in our services to the Glory of God. "Come on - let's praise Him!"

The function of our team is to build up the believers and reach out to the unsaved. Ultimately our aim as a team is to "Equip the people for the work of ministry through the creative arts and to edify the boy of Christ" (Eph 4:12 NIV). To prepare God's people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up.

We exist to serve the church's overall ministry vision. Our ultimate target is to see creative arts used as a ministry to others, to help people discover Jesus and to build up the church.

Our aim is to present the creative ministry in all forms of the arts and we strive to present the arts both professionally and with a heart for excellence..... We are the head and not the tail.....(Deut 28:13 NIV)

We are committed to developing everyone's potential in their area of the arts. We are here to encourage and up uplift each other but at the same time respecting each others limitations. We can do all things in Jesus Christ.

We are here to implement and to develop specific areas in the creative ministry within the church. i.e. writing our own quality sketches as well as utilising those written by others, writing music and songs to ultimately be used for performance to glorify the Lord, be used without our church for praise and worship, train up people in sound, lighting, production, props, costumes, multi media etc.

To build a sense of unity and friendship amongst the team. (John 13:34 NIV) "A new command I give you, love one another as I have loved you, so you must love one another".

Come along with a willing and co-operate attitude towards God and leadership. Then expect good things to happen through our lives and the gift we use to services others.
