The principal aim of Harvest Life Support is ...
Wherever possible to alleviate the distress experienced by people who are or have suffered from economic loss, misfortune, helplessness, sickness, family breakdown, abused women, single mothers, unemployed, in fact, any person who is recognisably in need of relief.

Harvest Life Support does not differentiate or have any preconceived notions with regard to the people who are assisted. All are treated equally and without judgment.

The Centre provides free of charge ..

• Clothes and accessories for men, women, children and babies
• Selected clothes for job interviews / school uniforms
• Small household items (eg: linen, curtains, kitchen items etc)
• Toys and books
• Emergency food (wherever possible)
• In response to special requests some furniture may be provided

The Centre also functions as a meeting place ...
... for social contact, client to staff and client to client. There is a small cafe area where tea, coffee, cake and biscuits are served without charge.

The Centre has working relationships with other Care providers:
Women helping Women, Sisters Inside, Reconnect, Salvation Army, Najidah Association Integrated Youth Services, Biddies Refugees, EMMA, Ozanam House, Sexual Assault Centre, Global Care and Centrelink.
